I passed my certification test this morning in LaGrange! I am now certified as a Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician!! Whoohooo! I guess my next certification will be CompTIA Network+, then possibly the Server+ (jury is still out on that one), then on to completing my MCSE requirements (three more Microsoft tests :-/ )
Ya know, since I used to take all my certification tests over at the College of Engineering, I thought this drive to LaGrange to take tests would be inconvenient. It turns out it only takes like 35 minutes to get to downtown LaGrange from Exit 57… not too bad. You don’t have to feed a meter in downtown either… there are just signs that say 2-Hour parking…
The place I take certification exams is a company called CPAK. They are a technology solution provider who specializes in Microsoft, IBM, Cisco, etc. Here is a Link to their website that has pictures of their office. It turns out they share this office with several other companies including accountants, etc. It’s an older building that was built in 1923 that has been renovated since. That’s about all I have going on today… working on a few projects that have been ongoing for a couple of weeks… I can’t wait for the Labor day weekend to spend at the lake and relax
More to come tomorrow –CS
