So, like I said in the previous post, it’s been a while since I updated everyone with what’s been going on in my life… So here is my best shot at a good update on what has been happening from January through April.
January - We started off 2007 in Charleston, SC with several of our friends (old & new). It was nice to spend New Year’s in a different location than Auburn or the Lake J The rest of the month was primarily work and school, with wedding preparation in between.
February - Our big event this month was our Valentine’s trip to Atlanta. I had purchased a City Pass, which allowed us to visit a number of Atlanta attractions for a single price (discounted, too!). We enjoyed the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coke (before it moved), and the Atlanta Zoo. Unfortunately, the zoo was open but all the animals were inside since it was freezing outside. Oh well, we tried.
March - We took our engagement shots this month in and around Auburn. It was beautiful to take some pictures in front of Samford Hall, behind the new Forestry building, and other misc locations. The pollen was definitely out that day as by the end of the photo shoot, my eyes were teary and bloodshot! But, all that matters is the pictures turned out well. I also went over to Atlanta for a day in mid-March for a Symantec ‘Tech Day.’ It turned out that this event was a huge sales pitch that included lunch. Oh well, free meal J
April - This month’s big event was my bachelor party down in Sarasota, Florida. Brandon, aka OB, and I drove down and met the rest of the group (David, Sanders, Brooks, Peacock). We had so much fun fishing out in the gulf! I was the one who caught several strange fish. I cannot remember off the top of my head what they were! Go figure! It was fun to see more of Sarasota and spend time with all of the guys.
