So, you might have noticed that the content on the site is no longer here… well…. there is a good reason for that, and I can’t put the blame on anyone else except myself :-)

So last week, I was going through my domains, mysql databases, sub-domains, etc and doing some end-of-the-year clean up. I backed up all my domain content (files, etc) before I blew away anything. I started with the domains… several of which had since expired… I removed their files. Second, I reviewed my databases… one of them being mysql.aublog.info. That domain was one of them that I removed since it no longer existed. So I decided to blow it away thinking it’s aublog, it’s gone…

I randomly went to my website (which runs WordPress) three nights ago and noticed that it wouldn’t come up because of a database connection error to mysql.aublog.info… oh crap, really!? Why in the world would it be using that db and not one of my other ones? Oh well, learned the hard way…

After blowing away the chuckysal.com files, I decided to rebuild and start from scratch. While doing that, i fired up mysql management page to take a look and see what was in my old database… well sure enough, all my content from chuckysal.com was in there… so at least I have something to reference if I need to…

Feel free to make suggestions, comments, etc on the site now! I’m working over my 2-week break to put some solid content on there, along with re-vamping my side business website, LatitudeIT.net. I was looking for a good template to use, and I did find a few, but I don’t have the time to learn flash :-)

More to come, hopefully more frequently… In case I don’t get around to updating before this weekend, I hope each and every one of you have a very, Merry Christmas!!! Remember the true reason for the season!!
